Herb Williams, founder of Delphi, has over 43 years experience as a political consultant. Through his San Diego based survey company, U S Surveys and Marketing Information, he conducted political and consumer research throughout the Western United States. It was through his survey firm that he became acquainted with Santa Rosa, where he conducted the very first survey regarding the widening of Highway 101.

In Depth Expertise and Proven Success

Prior to focusing his attention on local issues, Herb served on numerous campaigns, electing candidates to U.S Senate and Congressional seats in the Western and Mid-western states. He received national acclaim when he re-elected Bob Dole in 1974, the year of Watergate. He then served with the Republican National Committee as Regional Director for the six-state Pacific Northwest. Over the years, he has accumulated an 81% success rate in electing clients to political office, tax measures and in political approval of land use projects.

A Track Record of Credibility

Attracted to the "small town feel" of Santa Rosa, Herb moved to Santa Rosa in 1992 with his son, Jesse. Since then, he has focused on Northern California issues and candidates. In Sonoma County, he has run 31 successful campaigns for 19 City Council Members and two County Supervisors, defeated a recall campaign in Rohnert Park, passed Measure O, a quarter percent sales tax for police, fire and gang prevention in Santa Rosa and passed Measure A which banned fireworks in Santa Rosa. He was instrumental in the designation of Memorial Hospital as the Trauma Center for Sonoma County.

Additionally, he won nine of ten City Council elections in Novato (Marin County) including the former County Supervisor for northern Marin County. He was the consultant for Mendocino County Sheriff Tom Allman and the successful Measure K campaign for the Windsor Fire Protection District's parcel tax election in November 2006.
